Personality:

Flirtatious and aloof, Cheri has an easy going air about him and he believes in living in the moment. While he has a caring and outgoing manor there is a bit of an emotional distance in his demeanor that he has built up. Although some may perceive this distance as uncaring, it is quite the opposite; it’s simply a way to cope with loss and protect himself from future hurt. While he does yearn for a more intimate emotional connection there is a part of him that insists that it is beyond him.

Hobbies:

Everyone has their vices and Cheri is no different. The white haired Vii has quite the appetite for gambling and drinking. He enjoys venue hopping and soaks up the atmosphere like a plant needs the sun. He loves to dance and people watch. He enjoys hearing the latest gossip. Loves teasing shy people and making people blush. When not feeling sociable he prefers the company of his plants, his studies, the stars and on occasion you will catch him camping too.

Dislikes:

Cheri hates anything that has to do with Sharlayan politics; they frustrate the hell out of him. If you ever want to see him go on a rant just go ahead and mention Sharlayan. He hates war, but the need to help people and to alleviate suffering is too great for him to stay away from it.

A Boy Plucked from Eulmore

Pink fallen petals like a flurry of snow in the wind lay upon a slumbering Vii in an orchard of Cherry blossoms somewhere in the lands of Othard. A wandering sage who was doing field studies of his own, finds the slumbering Vii in a comatose state. But thanks to the wandering sage’s gentle ministrations the slumbering Vii awoke to a clear night sky. In fear of falling upward the Vii clung to the ground, grasping onto dear life before realizing he wasn’t actually falling. The sage tried to hide a chuckle while the Vii just stared at him in embarrassment.The Vii asked the sage, “What is it that you are writing in your book,” and the sage replied “Oh nothing, just some notes about this place… and about you.” The Vii was intrigued and needed to know what was written. There was only a simple response, “Oh?” before he snatched the book from the poor sage’s hands so he could catch a glimpse of what he wrote. The Vii caught the description before it was quickly taken back by the sage. It was the only part of the book that sounded more poetic than scientific, “A sprinkle of cherry blossoms lay upon the serene slumbering viera as he lay peacefully on the soft ground.” The Vii repeated the words to the sage and they both stared at each other in embarrassment, and thus they became close companions ever since…Cheriblossom Sprinkle, a name chosen out of a fellow sage’s journal….If one were to ask what kind of a name is Cheriblossom Sprinkle, the one who carries such a name would respond in a foreign posh accent with a sharp sarcastic tone, “Well… it’s the kind of name that strikes fear in the hearts of men darling.” And then there would be a taunting smirk accompanied by said words to perhaps bait one into a challenge.But, there is truth to those words. Those who served in the military during the many conflicts throughout history would know that his name is one to be respected and maybe even feared depending on which side of the conflict one takes part in. During the Dalmascan conflict, the history books would not have much to say about Cheri for he was just a mere foot soldier and a medic on the side of the Dalmascan resistance.However, the soldiers that served with him would know there was more to him than being a mere foot soldier. Cheri knew more about strategy than he let on when it came to fighting overwhelming numbers with a small force; as if he was used to such things. He knew where the best choke points were and how to use them with his vast knowledge of battle formations that won many battles for his small battalion. The series of battles that Cheri took part in caused the beginning of his fame within the resistance forces against the Garleans.Despite the loss in the Dalmascan war, Cheri carried on from one conflict to another as he took up arms with what was left of the small pockets of Dalmascan resistances. He took on a larger role within the conflict as one of the leading strategists along with being one of the primary healers. He came to be known as Doctor Blossom not only for his knowledge in healing, but also for his knowledge in strategy as his fame grew throughout the resistance.With the rumors of Doma and Ala Mhigo rising up against the Garleans, the Doctor moved onto the Bozjan resistance. It was a second chance for him to finish what he started. Due to his previous services in Dalmasca, it did not take him long to be granted the honorary title of Gunnhildr’s Blade. Cheri ended up becoming one of many key instruments in the destruction of the dreaded dreadnought, the Dalriada, which secured victory for the Bozjan forces. Due to his previous experiences with the Dalriada from the Dalmasca war and some lucky insider information he was able to obtain, he was able to help come up with key strategies that allowed for the downfall of the super weapon that would no longer plague the region.In present day Cheri is currently trying to open up a series of clinics. So far he has a makeshift one in Bozja in order to help with the rebuilding effort. He’s recently opened up another clinic in Garlemald to also help with the rebuilding effort after the end of days conflict. And to think he wasn’t stretched thin enough, he has a clinic in Limsa. The Limsa location was established first due Limsa being the ideal location to establish many connections to many traders being that it is a port city and a major thoroughfare. Cheri also rolls with the Bozja resistance in search for small pockets of 4th Legion resistances in order to eliminate them.
